Weekend in the Country
We had another lovely weekend in Balingup on the farm with Stu's parents. It is getting more and more gorgeous every time we visit. It is a stunning backdrop for taking photos. It's getting harder for me to get the boys to co-operate and let me photograph them though.

Offspring Magazine Fashion Shoot
Two weeks ago, I had the privelage of doing a children's fashion shoot for Offspring Magazine. I had a brief meeting with Kate Durack, the editor and from the getgo I think we had the same vision for the end result.
I scoped out a perfect location, which I plan to use a lot more in future and she performed the mammoth task of co-ordinating models and stunning clothing in record time.
Even with the strong winds in the afternoon, the weather Gods were pretty kind to us and I think the shoot was a success!
I am so thankful to my assistants Tracey Berkmortel (a talented photographer in her own right), Sheree Conacher, for the hilarious lengths she went to put smiles on the kiddies faces, and Simon Blears for taking great care of my gear, passing me equipment at just the right time and letting me steal his drink!
Thanks also to my always brilliant Mother, Annette Lennerts for all of her help on day 2!
As usual you rock Mum!
Thanks also to my husband Stuart for putting up with my obessession for collecting props in the lead up and for doing a great job keeping our boys happy so Mummy could do some work!
The upcoming issue will be available in early December and I can't wait to see it in print.
Here are a few from the weekend.

Family Holiday
![]() |
Stu, Oliver & Lucas along the river |
My parents and brother were with us also, so it was a real extended family holiday.
We enjoyed Pelican feeding, a river cruise on tinnies with a walk up to Castle hill, swims, sand castle building, BBQs, Stu and my seventh wedding anniversary, Richard's 35th birthday, whale watching galore, wonderous Nature's Window, Zbend along with many other sites and all topped off with a dinner at the famous Findlays on our last night. What a brilliant week! If it wasn't for the seven hour drive, we'd do it more often I'm sure.
Baby Daniel
I had the pleasure of capturing this gorgeous little guy on his first half birthday.
I met him two days after he was born & I can't believe how quickly that six months went.
He is just divine and a spitting image of his older brother.
Well done guys.

Spring has Sprung
In typical Perth style, our freezing cold weather has dramatically turned into dreamy warm days, BBQs and riverside evenings. I love that is my favourite season again.
The last term of school is about to start and before we can blink we'll be planning or Christmas dinner menus.
A few recent images.

Bella & Sienna
I only just noticed this beautiful pink Diosma plant and found the perfect girls to test it out as a backdrop with I think stunning results. I also jump at the opportunity to use my favourite vintage chair!

Blake & Tara
I had the chance to shoot these gorgeous siblings during the week. It was a pleasure to see them so genuinely affectionate towards each other. These were taken the day before Blake's braces went on, and before Tara's front teeth arrived :-) Too cute! This is using only natural light.
A weekend at the farm
We are blessed to have Stuart's parents living on a stunning 100 acre farm in Balingup. We wish we had time to visit more often and will have to make more of an effort to get down there. It's gobsmackingly beautiful to drive up the driveway welcomed by kangaroos and emus galore. There are kookaburras and robin red breasts and as we have three active sons, a tractor, quad bike and dirt galore are the perfect recipe for non-stop entertainment! When we're ready for lunch, fresh organic salad vegatables are picked from the ample vegie patches minutes before being eaten whilst looking out over the olive orchards that provide us with award winning Extra Virgin Olive Oil (www.tarnagullafarm.com)......BLISS!

I have had a super busy week and will post some fave pics from the week shortly, but I just came across this one I LOVE from a few months ago. The sweet little thing, whom I regularly like to photograph, had a fall from a swing and was being comforted by her mummy. It's one of my faves of all time. Just moves me.

I'm SOOOOO excited with my new Canon 5d Mark II
Oh happy day. Thanks you so much to my amazingly supportive husband and to American Express for making this possible!
I finally got my hands on my dream camera and an awesome couple of lenses to add to the kit.
Wow, I'm speechless. Only had a few minutes for a quick test with Jacques as the sun went down and so far I'm over the moon.
Looking forward to going to the farm tomorrow. Haven't caught up with Stu's family for a while now and there's certainly no more beautiful setting in Australia for taking pictures.
